VueScan Supports More Than 500 Scanners With Windows Vista

Phoenix, AZ (PRWeb) February 15, 2007 -- Hamrick Software, the developer of VueScan, the most widely used scanning software, has announced full support for Windows Vista.

"When people upgrade to Windows Vista, they're surprised to find that their existing scanner doesn't work" says Ed Hamrick, President of Hamrick Software. "Most scanner drivers don't work on Windows Vista, but these scanners will usually work quite well with VueScan on Windows Vista. In fact, VueScan provides higher quality scans and many more features than the software that comes with most scanners."

To use scanners with Windows Vista, install VueScan from www.hamrick.com and then plug in the scanner. When Windows Vista asks for a driver, tell it to look in c:vuescan.

VueScan is available for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
