Bamboo Solutions Develops Extensions for Microsoft Application Templates for Windows SharePoint Services

Reston, VA (PRWEB) June 28, 2007 -- Bamboo Solutions Corporation today announced the availability of Bamboo Solutions Application Template Extensions, a set of bundled Web Part solutions designed to extend the capabilities of the Application Templates for Windows SharePoint Services. Packaged to supplement templates developed by Microsoft, Bamboo Solutions Application Template Extensions enhance the user experience and assist in the adoption and rapid implementation of team sites in both Windows SharePoint Services and Office SharePoint Server.

The Bamboo Solutions Application Template Extensions are tailored to each of the Application Templates for Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, also known as the "Fantastic 40," and are comprised of either site or server template solutions. Functional areas include Business Management/Finance, Human Resources, Operations/IT, Project Tracking/Product Management, Sales/Marketing and Specialized/Verticals solutions.

The Job Requisition and Interview Management Template is designed to help recruiters streamline the process of managing the creation of job requisitions, coordinating interviews, collecting interview feedback and tracking the results of the interviews all in one place. The template allows assignment of responsibility for requisitions, candidates and interviews to people in the organization. The Job Requisition and Interview Management Template Extension from Bamboo allows users to further customize the Office SharePoint template to include time-based alerts as well as customized messaging, to search thru large numbers of applicants and perform metadata searches (i.e. resumes) and to present open requisitions on a world map view. This and all other Application Template Extensions from Bamboo feature installation wizard, detailed application notes as well as online support.
